JELLY

Selected to be in an Etsy treasury
!!!! HERE

Don't you just love a pantry all stocked full of food items? I do, and I rearrange and arrange my pantry often enjoying the colors and textures of packaging. Jelly has long been a favorite condiment of mine. I love looking at jelly jars as the sun filters through them. BEAUTIFUL!! I'd like to paint more pantry paintings.

Thank you all for your comments. Thanks Sandra, it took me a long time and multiple trys to come up with a compo that I liked. Carol, Dana, and Janice, it was very tasty! I later had a peanut butter and jelly snandwich. (long time favorite)
Thank you Karen, the purple was a challenging color.
Hi Linda.
Wonderful painting, and such lovely colours. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich? Obviously you don`t need to diet. Well done Linda, and all the best.

I like the geometric shapes in this one.

Thank you Vic! I don't need a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but I couldn't resist. All the best to you too Vic.

Thanks, Becky Joy! This is a pretty hard edge painting...I hadn't really thought much about it.

VANITY SOLD

I LOVE 'girl' things like lipstick, perfume, nail polish bottles, and pretty little compact cases. In this painting I was working for limited strokes. I would lay down the paint and leave it without manipulating it in any way. 6X6 inches oil Raymar canvas panel (Archival)

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting. I was experimenting with the changing values and shadow. 8X8 inches oil Raymar Canvas Panel (Archival)
