Linda Hunt

I am kind of excited because this is the first painting that I have done in about 2 weeks and I feel that I have made progress because of my mentoring program with Sarah.  I feel more confident in color as value.  I have learned that there is a time for activity and a time for quiet in brushwork.  So many things to consider.

The weather has been so HOT here in the South. To cool off I made up a container of raspberry lemonade. The glass was in the path of the sulight as it streamed across the counter and illuminated the glass. I had been racking my brain trying to dedcide what to paint for the day when I realized that the painting was sitting right in front of me.
