Thank you, Kim, linda, Liz and Victor. I found that the addition of Sap Green helped me achieve the greens that I was searching for. I enjoyed painting this painting; but then, I had been thinking about the composition it for some time!

I took this photo in early Spring when the light was very clear and bright. This plot of land is a place that I walk by everyday with my dog. I contemplated what I wanted to focus on many times as I passed by. I appreciate your comments they encourage my exploration into landscape painting.

VANITY SOLD

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
