SINGLE SLICE

OK.....No you are not seeing double I did list this a number of days ago. I liked it and I wanted to post it again on DPO. Anyway, the painting I did for today was not one I liked very much. I never tire of watermelon. Love to paint them and love to eat them.

Thanks for clearing that up, Linda. After my hubby told me about a conversation he thinks I had that I know I didn't have, I was sure my eyes were playing tricks on me too. We cleared up the conversation controversy; and "no" I didn't have it, I was right. And, you can post your watermelon anytime. Maybe during the deep winter when we all get tired of snow and long for hot summer days!
It's really nice.

Nice one to enjoy twice. Love the brushwork.
Well, you should paint watermelon EVERY day if you like! I love this piece, and it is an interesting composition, and has beautiful brushstrokes.

I am on a Peony roll here.....just enjoying the process of painting and color.  Can be purchased here .

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
