Hey, Linda, i like what you did to the persimmon painting. I put both versions on the screen and compared. I think that by emphasizing the shadows you made the painting stronger. Very nice.

I haven't don the same to the ornaments, yet.

I love the S shape of the reflection of the persimmon on the cup. I love painting those and really like yours with the white cup. We should do a persimmon challenge!
What a good learning experience to go back and add some changes- I like the bottom painting also. Great colors.

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
