Red Bird Green Apples

I may need to do some tweaking but I think that I have brought this painting to a conclusion. It was fun to paint although I tried to avoid too much detail and in doing so that became quite frustrating at times.

Wow, Linda, this is awesome! I love so many things about the painting, but especially I love the reflected light on the chair back and seat. Beautiful!

Nice one Linda. I have been thinking about painting a chair lately and your red one turned out beautifully!

Love the composition, so many things to see and the red chair is great. The reflected light on the chair is wonderful and the apples and most of all, I like the lost edges of the vase. Quite an effort here and it all works well. What size is the painting?

A very good large painting Linda! The eye blends the colors as it follows the objects around this lovely composition!

I so enjoy your larger paintings. This is very nice with the red chair and the patterns behind it.

Pretty in Pink

I am on a Peony roll here.....just enjoying the process of painting and color.  Can be purchased here .

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
