Candy Apple

I wasn't looking for anything to paint while grocery shopping but when I saw the candy apples it just brought back so many memories. There was a small activities park with a Ferris Wheel and other rides when I was small. The family would go there sometimes and my greatest pleasure was a glossy, transparent, red candied apple. Oh yummm! Well, I am cautious about my crowns now and only admire them from a distance so I decided to live vicariously and paint one.

Boy, does this candy apple bring back childhood memories... love the glossy surface and the pooled candy coating. I too can only admire from afar... crown cost too much.

Lovely Painting Linda. that gloss is perfect. We use`to call them Toffee Apples. They were lovely, but we are suffering from them now. A visit to the Dentist takes a chunk out of your savings eh? All the best Linda and a Happy Christmas to you all.
