I am making a shadow box to place my still life objects in so that I can control the light. I saw something similar on Wet Canvas months ago. I really like the set up that Carol Marine has, but haven't been able to have it built yet. I plan on cutting round holes in the sides where I can shine a light through and get a more directional lighting angle. In my studio I don't have good natural lighting so I must use lamps. It is a good size box and very sturdy. I am anxious to try it out!

I look forward to seeing more... Always enjoy your work.
Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
I am interested in the light also! Looks like a big light at top and a second one? I need one of those-
I actually got all the stuff to make the CM still life box. Got it all home and it was huge! Decided it was a bit too big for now. I got a box and have the sides where they can be up or down and put it all on a laptop adjustable table. It works perfect for me. I can adjust for perspective and roll it closer, etc.
I am in a home office/living room for now so have to control lighting also. Great to share ideas.
Happy New Year.
I will look forward to your work that comes from this!
Happy new Year and Happy Painting!
I was wondering how I'd do something for making still lifes easier/better.
