Walking on Eggshells

It took me a long time to put this still life set up together. I knew internally what I was looking for and it took much shuffling and evaluating until I achieved the combination that spoke to me. I used an extremely simple palette in this painting...cad red med, permanent alizarin crimson, cad orange, cad lemon, cad yellow lt, ultra blue, dioxazine purple and white.

Your brushwork has totally inspired me. This has a fresh immediate quality that I like. And the title is fun too.

Love the colors and the brush strokes. I'm sure you enjoyed painting this.
Beautiful vibrant color and very abstract feel to this! It looks like you set it up in intense sunlight.
Also like your sensitive drawing of bananas . . .

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
