Beautiful sketch. I have a vase like this I was just looking at today; it's cobalt blue glass. What color is yours? Will you paint this one?

I am wanting to try some lipsticks also- ala' Peggi Kroll Roberts. Sort of a girley still life...you did great with this. I really like her teaching style and found her dvd's to be exceptionally good.
Yes the pink nail posish is definitly the focal point. The blue really sets off the compostion. Your brush work the best.

Almost an abstract painting, very nice! But I have to say the red above the pink is what really catches my eye. The pink seems pretty close in color and value to the background, but the red really pops.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
