Somewhere in South Carolina

All throughout South Carolina on back roads in rather remote areas you can find these abandoned shacks and homes.  This one is an old barn and shed.  I loved the weathered look and the greenery which had overgrown the area.  This painting is right off the easel and is WET....it will nor ship until after May 1st 2018.
I laid in a red orange ground on this canvas and then painted over it.  I loved the greens against the warmth of the shed.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
