GINGER #3 SOLD

This is a stalk off of one of my Ginger plants. They have a very beautiful subtle scent that is quite distinctive. It is an exotic looking plant which likes the hot and humid weather of the South. On a sultry evening the smell of the blossoms permeate the air...it is very beautiful.

I really like how you handled the glass vase. I've never smelled ginger. Your description sounds wonderful.

Gorgeous colors! Love the way you've introduced the yellow into the lilac. Great reflections in the vase!
Nice one Linda. Love the brushwork.
Nice one Linda. Also I like the previous painting, Beach Ball. Well done on both. All the best Linda.

Thank you, Gwen...the colors came out more pastel than intended but sometimes paintings have a life of their own.

Pretty in Pink

I am on a Peony roll here.....just enjoying the process of painting and color.  Can be purchased here .

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
