STARFISH SOLD

I keep this starfish up on the top shelf in my studio. My late golden retriever, Sky, ate half a starfish many years ago thinking it was food. He lived for many years after that encounter, but, I am aware that these are enticing little morsels to some dogs!

I love the simplicity of this... Nicely done, Linda!

Kim, R Garriott, Kelley, Virginia, Marian, and Kelley...I just want to thank you all for commenting on my blog...I appreciate all of your comments...it has been a long hot day and I wanted to respond and let you know that you have made my day. I wasn't sure...it is very simple and I wondered if I had gone to far in simplification.

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
