Vintage Ornaments in a Box

I began collecting vintage ornaments many years ago which culminated in a huge buying spree of several boxes of Shiney Brite Christmas Ornaments in the original boxes. Feeling the spirit of the season with this painting! If you have viewed this page before you will note that I reworked the painting. I am learning more and more that it is a good practice to let things rest and have another evaluation before posting.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one. It was really HARD! So many petals going all different ways. I am pleased with the results. I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!
