Darn....I meant to follow this painting from layout to finish and I forgot!  Hopefully I will remember tomorrow.  My friend Jo MacKenzie told me of a great site that allows you to paint the photographs that the members post.  This was from a very talented photographer on site.  Setting up a still life is still one of my biggest challenges.

Bonjour chère amie,

Des petites tomates qui nous font rougir de plaisir...

J'aime la lumière qui les met en scène.

Gros bisous

Thanks, Jane....

My great great grandparents came from Hjorring, Denmark also from Sorring, Dallerup, Denmark. I had to look in my Family History to find out!
I like the roughness in this, the colors and contrasts. Lovely!

Pretty in Pink

I am on a Peony roll here.....just enjoying the process of painting and color.  Can be purchased here .

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
