Linda, you inspire me. The beautiful dark values which just perfectly set off the rest of the painting. The way the yellow tones travel through the painting. So very nice.
DPW is a great site for artists. There are many features including, weekly challenge, auction, featured artists each week, just great advertising and well worth the modest monthly fee. I am not a member at the time. I felt that for me I wasn't participating enough to warrant the monthly fee. I would encourage anyone interested in joining!
6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one. It was really HARD! So many petals going all different ways. I am pleased with the results. I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!
