Lemonade...abstract still life by Linda Hunt

I am exploring the color yellow in this painting. It is a difficult color to work with...I think. My lemons were a willing subject for another day. They are so good about staying right where you put them. I continue to explore composition and value structure.

Des couleurs qui swinguent parfaitement bien et sont aussi rafraîssante qu'une limonade...
Gros bisous à vous et joyeux premier mai

Agreed - yellows are insane! But I love what you've done here with them - that lemon slice really pops and it's always fun to see glass tackled well. This is a great painting Linda.

Linda, this painting is just wonderful. I'm really enjoying watching your style grow more abstract, and it's so powerful and beautifully done. Just fantastic!
When I first saw this I immediately thought "summer". Your color combinations here work really well. I particularly love seeing your brush strokes in the pitcher. What are the dimentions?... it needs to be framed and hung.
