Whisper Spring




Ohhhh it is truly Sping here in the South. I dug and raked yesterday and today I plant bulbs. While shopping I saw these sunflowers and after several days of wishing I had bought them...they were there! I used a red underpainting in this painting and love the small area that peek through.

This is goooorgeous!! Love the colors , the rich strokes and the reflexion in the glass, wonderful job!
I too am spending a lot of time in the garden, spring is definitely here, it's so fantastic to observe how it all explodes every year .

That is fantastic! I think sunflowers are hard to paint but you did an awesome loose job! Nice choice by adding the plums. Great composition.
