PINK PEONY sold

Peonies are not in season and I admit that this is a gorgeous silk flower that has great color. I am grateful that I finished this painting with time to spare because I have 2 pies to make for tomorrow. Thanksgiving! I wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving and a joyful holiday season!

Beautiful, beautiful! I would want to go back in and start fussing...one of my failings! But you are brave and leave the gorgeous strokes to speak for themselves. Simplicity and intensity. Love it.
Happy Thanksgiving to you guys down there...we have ours in Oct. I used to live in the States and we always did a big Thanksgiving too-and I always loved watching the parades on tv...a secret vice!

Absolutely beautiful! I love the deep colors in the throat of the flower, the muted tones in the shadow and the bright highlights where the light hits the petals. Great job!
Lovely pastel colors. Really enjoy those energetic brush strokes! Happy Thanksgiving!

An absolutely amazing rendition--the color is perfect. I would love to learn how to paint like you can.
Hi Linda.
Beautiful impressionistic Painting, exactly how I love to see the paint, plenty of brilliant thick paint, boldly placed. All the best Linda.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
