Strawberries! I love them. What more could I possibly say? They shall be dessert tonight! This oil painting is 8 inches by 8 inches on gessoed canvas panel. SOLD
I was at one of the specialty stores a while back and fell in love with this little jar of cocktail onions. Knowing that I would use them in a painting, I set them aside until the set up for this still life. Yes, I still have oranges from the two bags that I bought about two weeks ago. They are exceptionally good, but I really thought that they looked great with the onions. This oil painting is 8 inches by 8 inches on gessoed canvas panel. SOLD
Vanilla Donut I looked over the pastry at the grocery store hoping to find a Lemon or strawberry donut but there weren’t any. Then I saw this beautiful vanilla frosted donut and it just spoke to me. I’m having a real struggle to not eat it. If you know anything about weight watchers then you understand why I grabbed a 1 point bar instead. Discipline. I live vicariously through my painting. This oil painting is 4 inches by 4 inches on stretched canvas. RESERVED

Dessert Dish and Fan I found these beautiful beige transparent dessert dishes a while back and knew that they would be used in one of my paintings. I have always loved fans and have collected them off and on throughout the years. This little teal colored fan was the perfect addition to this still life. This oil painting is 6 inches by 6 inches on gessoed canvas panel.
I have tried to paint a raw egg several times and thought that this would be a good way to work with white at the same time. I placed these white ceramic tiles down and set the bowl and egg down. I really began to see that the whites were both cool and warm and used these to form the foundation of the painting. This oil painting is 6 inches by 6 inches on gessoed canvas panel. SOLD
