Mums in Glass Vase

My mums are holding up well and I want to capture as many images in paint as I can before they begin to drop petals.

The purple and yellow make a very pleasing painting. I really like how you handled the background.

Love checking out your blog from time to time. I always find something inspiring! the loose, quick approach to this one caught my eye. Maybe dropped petals would be alright too!

Beautiful colors. Flowers are so pretty. When the petals start to fall, paint that also:) Will be interesting composition also.

Beautiful in so many ways, love the color palette, your spontaneous brushstrokes, and the wonderful blocks of color in the background!

Thank you, Victor...I really appreciate your comment. I have been working hard on my compositions and painting skills. The addition of a daily drawing will eventually help me in my painting, I think! All the best, Linda!
