Cincinnati Conservatory


While we were in Cincinnati this past Fall we spent some time in the Conservatory. It was lush and resembled a dense tropical forest. I took many photographs and have been mulling over in my mind how I would interpret the photos. Today it has been raining heavily and the air is thick with humidity. I began to think of a tropical Rain Forest and how I would depict it. I decided on an abstract theme with lots of vibrant color. Today was a wonderful Play Day!!

This is gorgeous . . . love the juxaposition of cheerful colors and interesting shapes. It has wow factor! I think you should do a really large version of this.

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
