Tulip

This was a wipe out over and over again and I decided that I would just leave this one as it is.

I think this is beautiful Linda. Gorgeous colors and nice composition.
Linda, what can I say but another beauty. Well done and all the best.

Beautifully handled Linda! The edges of the petals are quite lovely.
The colors are beautiful. I seldom see a tulip painting with the tulips facing the viewer - this is a refreshing composition.

This has a lovely almost ethereal feel about it Linda. I just painted some tulips too, but they are not as beautiful as these!

These are wonderful! I love the colors and the way you painted them is sweet! I learned the other day how hard tulips are to paint:) They keep changing on you!

Linda,
Very nice, the tulips look great, colors are nice and the composition you used is really good...looks like it's too early for me to use good descriptive words this morning. I'm sorry You know I really like your work though!!

This is so lovely. From your garden? I did a pink tulip last week but from a photo. My garden is under acouple feet of snow. Your portrait drawing is great. This one shows a lot of sensitivity.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
