Ruby Red, Oranges, and Tea SOLD

i like the combination of the red plate and cup with the oranges. It reminded me of a song from the 70's. I wanted to stay loose in this painting. I'm just not sure if I was too loose.

Gorgeous! Love that red glow and the reflections are wonderful. NO...you absolutely did not get too loose. Looks just right!

Once again, a lovely painting,Linda! These loose paintings are just touching on abstraction, which is very clever!

Nope, not too loose at all - it's perfect - love the color of the reflections and the strokes you chose to make each object - looks GREAT!

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
