Cut Red Pepper

I love, love painting red peppers. I think that they are so beautiful with their rich red casing and pearly seeds at the core. Just beautiful. The doily on the other hand was a challenge for me to paint.

Love your loose and lovely pepper! Great variety of reds and the small thick strokes of color in the background work so well with the seeds in the pepper.

Another good work Linda. Love the thick strockes. This adds something.

BEAUTIFUL! I love the 'doily' - which reads a little abstract to me, too! That pepper has a wonderful, decisive quality to it's brushstrokes.

I'm taken by the abstract quality and strong colors of the doily on the tabletop surface. I think it really adds to the piece and I enjoy seeing your background in abstract art come through. Very nice.

You handled the reds of the pepper very well, love the seeds and the busy doily in the background
