Saturday we spent the day in Charleston attending the Spoletto Art Festival.  I have many photos to work from.  On the way out of the downtown area we walked past a home with a pretty little private inner garden.  I loved the light and the color of the building set against the green foliage.  Very Special

I have been working on this drawing for several days...its certainly not perfect, but I think that I captured something of the spirit of this pretty girl.

Linda, this is beautiful. I think I'm more used to seeing your still lifes, which I love, but I sure hope to see more of these too.

Peach Peony....Day 24

  6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
