Peony

8"X 8"
Oil on Board
$135.00

The glass is part of a set of 4 that I bought that came from the 1950's...love them!  The cups a melmac...who remembers that?  The Peony is not real but I fell in love with it at Pier One Import.  I felt on my game today and this fell together rather effortlessly.  That's the best way.

If you sign up for my Newsletter, that only comes out once a month, you can be entered to win a 6"X 6" painting at the end of the month.  I would appreciate it if you would LIKE my Facebook page.  Both signups are on the right hand column!

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting. I was experimenting with the changing values and shadow. 8X8 inches oil Raymar Canvas Panel (Archival)
