ROSES

I have developed quite a love for painting flowers that I grow. These are bush roses and this years Spring showing was spectacular. We had an unusually cold winter and so the trees, bushes, and bulbs were much more prolific. I just placed these roses in a simple glass jar to paint.

Really like the cropping of your floral and jar Linda. And the rose petals are wonderful!

Wonderful composition, Linda.

So simple, but the composition is great...the colors refreshing and the looseness in the peal work...all well done Linda.

Lovely, nice and loose! What reds do you have on your palette, Linda?

I really love those juicy, "unworried" brushstrokes. The painting has a wonderful feel to it.
