Daily Drawing #24

Finally, I feel good about this drawing it was worth sticking with it until I understood the forms and how to get what I wanted.  It helped to layout quickly and proceed with sensitivity.  I can always go darker but I can only go lighter with an eraser and that I forbid in this drawing.  I wanted to challenge myself to put down marks and live with them.  Fresh eyes.....fresh fingers....a good nights' rest with lots of thinking and consideration.

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
