Oranges

This painting no longer exists...a wipe out. But, I have learned from a number of you to be very careful what to wipe out. This painting had some interesting brushwork in it and while it really didn't work there were things to learn from it.

I love this painting. I wish you had not wiped it out. It may not have worked in your mind, but I think the colors are wonderful.

Pretty colors and as always I love your loose style!
As soon as I saw this painting, I thought, this is the one I want to comment on. Then I read that you wiped it! :[ The brushwork is wonderful and I love the colors, very cheerful and lively.

Ohhh, wiped out... Linda love the primitive look and the fresh, light palette. Like a Alice Neel of still lifes.

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
