CORN

This is an older image of an ear of corn. It was so abstract that I didn't think it held much merit but the more I look at it the more it grows on me.

Love your corn painting! The texture is amazing as usual...love your brushwork. I also really like the ranges of each color you have going on which make it complex even though the form is abstracted.

This is fun! Great abstraction.
Colors are gorgeous, and the corn stands out in such a subtle yellow, yet it takes center stage. Nice painting!

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
