This is the finished commissioned painting. I refuse to touch it again. I must not allow that to happen. Sometimes I waiver....go back in....and wish I hadn't. Sooooo, this one is going to be set aside and I will leave it.
Linda, there is a wonderful special quality to your work, and this painting is absolutely superb. I like it because it shows that you can be brave and different and always have a surprise in store!
This is a very expressive portrait. Beautiful skin tones, strong presence. You should be very proud....and also proud for not touching it again. that is really hard to do!
6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one. It was really HARD! So many petals going all different ways. I am pleased with the results. I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!
