My heart aches over the tragedies the past few weeks have heaped on our country, families, and all tender spirits.  May we find comfort during these difficult days.

I have had great difficulty painting and this little pig became my greatest nemesis.  But, I persevered knowing that I would bring it around.  I did...now I must try again!!!

I agree the news made my head crowded and sad and although I did paint I threw out most of what I did. It was just all over the place.
Now to you picture...lots of reflections and shiny objects and holiday cheer.
We are lucky to have "art land" to go to in times of stress. If we can't make it we can always listen to Mozart that helps too.

LITTLE ORANGE TEAPOT SOLD

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
