4X6"
This painting was painted for the DPW challenge this week. I was very excited because I bought one of the Carol Marine and David Marine still life stage setups here and it is a wonderful tool.  Because the light is captured inside of the 'tent' it made painting so much easier.  I highly recommend this device!

Hi Linda, I was wondering why your DPW photo of your entry has not space to comment? I really like your pinks in your shells and the reflections into the plate.

Hi Linda,

I tried to comment on DPW, but for some reason the comment line kept disappearing! Anyway, I think you have some nice colors going here and I like the way you "sheltered" the yolk at the base of the shells. I don't know how anybody lights still lifes effectively without the light box. It's a "must have"!

Hi Layne...you are so right...I have noticed a huge improvement in my painting since the light box.

Thank you, Gloria...I have tried to find out why this is happening.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
