'Ruby Red and Ranunculus' by Linda Hunt still life

It felt good to be in the studio painting today. My lemons are holding up fine and I am beginning to love to paint yellow. Who would have guessed.

Une composition qui me plaît beaucoup... Les jaunes de vos citrons apportent cette belle touche acidulée à votre oeuvre.
Gros bisous
Nice one Linda. All the best.

Thank you Martine! Yellow is tricky...but I am getting a better handle on it.

Love your choice of color and beautifully painted.
I really appreciate how you keep working with the color yellow, no giving up because it's not easy. Well done.

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
