Sweet

Grapefruits are one of my favorite fruits to paint. I love the lush interior and the bright yellow skins. In this painting I also focused on the fabric and tried to slightly indicate the folds and changes of light. I loved the polka dots and felt that they set the painting off!

Linda, me too, lol... Have to get this work done. Maybe paint them later? HA! I'm certain everyone understands as they are no doubt in the same spring situation. Loving the grapefruit, the soft colors are making me feel spring like!

Lovely color combination. My favorite bit is the glass jar. I like the distorted image of the grapefruit and spoon handle through it. Nice job!

This is wonderful- love all the grapefruit colors. I buy them for my Mother in Law so may have to keep one to try:) Fun painting. I think we all understand that there are other things we all need to do! Take care.

Nice composition! I love grapefruit when they are pink. Do you know blood oranges? They are also reddish-pink inside.
The colors are so soft and the entire painging is wonderful and full of whimsy. In a word, frame, frame, frame!
