Linda, once again I am very impressed with your bold strokes and economy of design. I love the very subtle colour choices, the slight variations of grey and the accented touch of vermillion which in no way overpowers the primary subject, that very beautifully proportioned "sugar" or "pickle" jar (somehow I see it holding pickles more so than brown suger).

oh wow - you've done the glass so beuatifully - subtle & delicate - and pefectly set off by the bit of red - really lovely! thank you!
It's so beautiful. I love the cool colors and the bits of red stripes.

it's amazing how you capture something that can be as complicated as glass, in such few strokes!

Great job on this jar! I like the striped fabric placed behind it.
Beautiful job on such a tough subject to paint. I really like how you where able to give the glass thickness with just a few choice strokes of color along it's sides.

Really nice with such simplicity. Good job.
Lovely painting here Linda. You have made it look like what it is, a solid looking Jar. Well done and all the best.

What a great painting! The subject matter is simple, but this is not a simple painting. Your color choices and lush brush strokes make this a very interesting painting. Great job!
