Thank you Carol, Kelley, and Dana. This painting was wiped out a number of times because I had to work so hard on the light effects on the cloth. Your comments really help and I thank you again.

Thank you, Vic. I appreciate your stopping by and taking the time to leave comments. I work very hard on keeping my brushes clean and I think that that alone helps to keep the color fresh. As I said in one of my earlier comments, the limited palette that I learned to use from Carol Marine, has made a huge difference in my color. Thank you again.
Hi Linda, Vibrant and fresh. Good tip on keeping a limited pallette. I do the same. I wonder how our colours match up.

Linda, what is your palette then? All the best.

First, congratulations on being included among the fine artists on the new site, Daily Painter Originals! You deserve it!

I admire your simplification of your subjects into shapes and minimal details. I so strive for that and it is extremely hard to achieve! Your colors are vibrant and alive. Bravo for great work!

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
