Egg In Bowl

I have tried to paint a raw egg several times and thought that this would be a good way to work with white at the same time. I placed these white ceramic tiles down and set the bowl and egg down. I really began to see that the whites were both cool and warm and used these to form the foundation of the painting.

This oil painting is 6 inches by 6 inches on gessoed canvas panel.
