Donut times Three

I was at one of the specialty stores a while back and fell in love with this little jar of cocktail onions. Knowing that I would use them in a painting, I set them aside until the set up for this still life. Yes, I still have oranges from the two bags that I bought about two weeks ago. They are exceptionally good, but I really thought that they looked great with the onions.

This oil painting is 8 inches by 8 inches on gessoed canvas panel.

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
