You checked my blog out last week. Thanks for that. I love your work, quite sculptural. I had a chance to study under Carol Marine for a week a couple of years ago when she came up here to Canada. Would love to take another workshop again someday. Maybe I will travel to the US for that. Love this painting. My day lilies are just coming up here. I look forward to painting them again this year. will visit again soon!
Beautiful daylillies, Linda! As everyone has said, the colors so soft. I also like the blue diagonal behind the flowers. The gray greens are perfect. Nice job!!
Yes, lovely palette and beautiful flat patterns and it's just lovely. I love that quality about many of your paintings, my eye just lingers around and around. Wonderful.

Red Orange is another of my favorite colors. When I saw this great tea pot in one of the stores in town I wanted it right away. But, I thought and thought about it and when I went back to the store it was still there and I decided that it was mine! I am not a tea drinker but I have always loved the shapes and sizes and variety of design of teapots. In this painting I backlit the teapot with natural and studio lighting.
