Cake and Cool Whip SOLD

Today is dedicated to marathon painting. I made this vanilla cake yesterday and think that it is pretty enough to be painted! I am still interested in painting my tulips and will tackle a larger painting today.
After looking at this again I think I should have named it flying cool whip. It looks as though the cool whip is taking off or fluttering its wings!!

I like the interpretation of the pattern on the plate and this muted color palette, it works really well, and I'm not being influenced by one of my favorite things other than M&M's, COOL WHIP - glad someone else likes it too, my friends make fun of me - I think they don't know what they are missing!!!

Linda, I don't visit your blog nearly enough, but when I do wow! I am so abundantly rewarded. LOVE the frosting & wonderfully balanced color blocking in this one.
