Bunny SOLD

I found this little buy among the clearance items today. His ear was torn off and so when I brought him home I used paper glue to attach it and he is perfect. I'm not used to painting anything like this. He is a silver bunny. I may not have captured the silvery look yet. I'll evaluate. If any of you have suggestions I am up for that.

This is so cute Linda! A nice subject to paint. It doesn't quite look like silver but I like it.

Cute little bunny, Linda. I wish I could help with the look of silver, but I have trouble with it, too. I did at one time paint a nice silver pitcher. My instructor said to paint the reflections, which I did, and it was very nice. However, I haven't painted any silver since.

Hi Linda, this guy is sweet and I like the placement- at an angle. If a thing is reflective, it has a lot of hard edges within the shape, so you might want to play with that. Also the shapes will reflect some of the color surrounding it...nice greens :)..Mary

I think it is precious and perfect just the way it is.

Hi Linda, What a lovely painting...with such a sweet, adorable subject!
Darling! What a sweet face. I have always been told that to paint silver, start dark, and build up to lighter values (reflections).
I also love it as it is Linda. Well done, and all the bast.

Peach Peony....Day 24

6"X 6" Oil Ampersand Gessobord $125.00 I'm ready to chill out after this one.  It was really HARD!   So many petals going all different ways.  I am pleased with the results.  I have to laugh at myself....I thought of showing a step by step process in the painting of this peony....but....never looks like anything until the last few strokes!  I am happy with this painting however I got here.  This painting is found here :
